Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, participate in mock interviews, respond to surveys, or reach out to our team. This may include your name, contact details, target programs, and payment information when you purchase a plan.

When you practice, we collect the content of your sessions, including audio and video recordings, images captured during sessions, transcripts, and the feedback and scores generated for you.

We also gather usage data about how you interact with Confetto, such as performance metrics and device information.

Using Confetto in ChatGPT

If you use the Confetto app in ChatGPT, we receive what ChatGPT sends to our app to carry out your request, such as the topic, question or interview details you ask to practice, and we collect the content of the interviews you do there in the same way as on our website (see above). We don't receive your ChatGPT conversation history or your OpenAI account details.

ChatGPT also sends an anonymized user identifier. We store it only as a one-way hash, so that an interview you do before connecting a Confetto account can be saved to your account when you connect it, and to limit free use. When you connect your Confetto account, ChatGPT can show and discuss your Confetto practice data in your chats. You can disconnect the app at any time in ChatGPT's settings.

How we use information

• Deliver and personalize AI interview practice, drills, and feedback.
• Process billing, send transactional emails, and respond to support requests.
• Monitor performance, maintain security, and prevent misuse of the platform.
• Research, develop, and improve our products, services, and technologies, including AI and machine learning models.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

How we share information

We share information with service providers that help us operate Confetto: cloud hosting and databases, sign-in and account security, real-time voice and video for interviews, AI model providers that run the interviewer and generate feedback, payment processing, email delivery, and product analytics. They process information on our behalf and only for these purposes. When you visit our websites, advertising partners may receive information through cookies and pixels to measure our ads. We also share information with partners and collaborators for the purposes described in this policy, when required by law or to protect our users and our rights, and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

How long we keep information

We keep your account information and your practice sessions, including recordings, transcripts, scores and feedback, for as long as your account is open so you can review your progress. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete this data within 30 days, except for records we must keep for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons, such as payment records.

Your choices

You can update your profile information, download practice history, or close your account at any time by contacting us. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link, and you may disable optional analytics cookies in your browser settings. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time by emailing us, and you can disconnect the Confetto app in ChatGPT's settings.
